Had a lovely afternoon and evening tour from Chiang Mai up to the hidden temple and onto Doi Suthep. Amazing temples but all the more enjoyable as our guide (Obi) knew so much about the culture and traditions. Some highlights of our short tour were learning how to honor the Budda, being blessed by a monk, finding our own birthday Budda and fortune telling. My wife and I were supposed to take this tour with friends of ours but they got sick so it ended up being just her and I and Obee. Obee, took very good care of us for the full day during our tour to the cave temple and sticky falls. He never rushed us or dragged things out he worked at a perfect pace. We took this tour mid January 2020.

Chiang Mai is the northern part of Thailand. Doi suthep temple is located on the peak of the national park Suthep-Pui. The mountain is one of the most famous landmarks in Chiang Mai. They say you have not truly been to Chiang Mai if you have not visited this temple!. At the top of the temple you can see view the pagoda shining with real gold and a viewing platform offers panoramic view of the whole Chiang Mai city and take in the wonderful countryside landscape and the fascinatingly nature trail or Monks trail
